Non-Compete Agreements Earning Thresholds Increase

Earning requirement for noncomplete agreements is increased. The amount of minimum earnings required for a noncompete agreement to be enforceable in Washington is increased for inflation as follows for 2022:

    • For employees – To $107,301.04 (from $101,390); and
    • For independent contractors – To $268,252.59 (from $253,475).
