Alabama Mandatory Microchipping Prohibited
Effective September 1, 2023, employers can’t require employees to be implanted with a microchip or other permanent identification marker as an employment condition. However, the law doesn’t prohibit individuals from voluntarily electing to be microchipped or marked.
