Virginia: Required Human Trafficking Training for Hotel Employees
Effective January 1, 2023, hotel proprietors must provide training to their employees so they can recognize and report human trafficking. The training will be provided by the Department of Criminal Justice Services, or approved by it, and offered online or in-person. Each hotel employee must complete the training within six months of hire and then at least once every two years.
