Paid Family Leave tax updated
Effective 1 January 2022, the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave wage base increased to $147,000.
For employers with fewer than 25 employees, the employer tax rate (25-000-0000-ER_FLI-000) is 0% and the employee tax rate (25-000-0000-FLI-000) is 0.344%.
For employers with 25 or more employees, the combined Paid Family and Medical Leave tax rate is 0.68%.
