Success says that surviving and thriving in this dog-eat-dog world can be tough if you and your business are not properly equipped with the necessary benefits and services to do so. At Resourcing Edge, we understand that, and we are very pleased to share with you that we have recently made the commitment to offer Health Advocate to our employees and their eligible family members who are also enrolled in our United Healthcare plans. Health Advocate is a new and important benefit designed to help handle healthcare and insurance-related issues by cutting through the red tape and barriers that so often create frustration and problems.
Now, Health Advocate does not provide health insurance, nor does it provide medical coverage. Their program is not a substitute for your current health insurance plan. Rather, Health Advocate is intended to complement your basic health coverage with United Healthcare by facilitating your interaction with healthcare providers and insurers.
With Health Advocate, you will have access to a Personal Health Advocate, typically a registered nurse, who is supported by medical directors and benefits and claims specialists. You will also have the confidence in knowing that the entire Health Advocate team is working on your behalf to help you represent your needs.
Check it out! Listed below is simply a sample of the many services you will have readily available to you with the new Health Advocate benefit:
- Help finding the right doctors and hospitals near you
- Help obtaining services for your elderly parents and parents-in-law
- Help scheduling appointments, especially with hard-to-reach specialists
- Help when faced with serious illness or injury
- Help securing second opinions
- Help with insurance claims and billing issues
- …and much more!
Health Advocate even offers its special services to your extended family. In addition to you, your spouse, dependent children, parents, and parents-in-law will also be covered under this program and have access to its amazing benefits.
It seems as though, for many, this past year has really redirected what we deem as important due to the pandemic instilling a sense of fear that did not necessarily exist before. Losing those who we unconditionally love and care for can be one of the toughest challenges to experience. We are committed to doing our very best to make sure we are offering our services and benefits to not only you, but also to those we cannot imagine living without. Success stems from happiness and health, and we are here to help drive it. Let us know if you have any questions or would like additional information. Our HR Professionals are ready to help!
